The Reasons Why My Family and I Chose Connections Academy
It all started in March of 2020. This was when Covid-19 was officially deemed a world-wide pandemic. In response, the local school district that I was part of shifted all school to online learning. This however, turned out to not be an ideal solution for many students. You only got a few assignments and the teachers were your parents. Luckily the school year was almost over but not the virus.
The following summer my parents looked for an online school that would better meet my needs. This turned out to be Utah Connections Academy. So, in August, I started 7th grade in what seemed like a new world. Happily, I caught on quickly and enjoyed the format. I quickly began to get familiar with the tools, teachers, and set up. After successfully completing a year of online school, my family and I decided that we would enroll for another year. This time it was not only because of Covid-19, but also because of the fact I could work at my own pace, which is something I enjoy doing. This year has also been a great year and I am intending on coming back again next year! You should definitely consider Connection Academy; I know that I am glad my family did.
